Paul Kelleher is a Vice President of Engineering for QT Technologies Ireland Limited (Qualcomm Ireland).
Paul joined Qualcomm Ireland in June 2015 as the first Global System-on-Chip (SoC) Engineer at the Qualcomm Ireland office located in Cork, Ireland. He has 30+ Years in the Electronics Industry and previously worked for: Cypress Semi, Powervation, Freescale/Motorola, Canon Australia, S3 (Philips) with roles as Chip Lead, Design Manager, DigRF System Architecture, MIPI Member, Front End and Back End Designer.
He drove the creation of the first design team for the Cork site as both the team lead and design manager.
Over the last 9 years, the Cork engineering team has grown to over 500+ engineers and is continuing to grow.
Today the site includes numerous teams across several key skills sets delivering to all SoCs within the Global SoC portfolio.
He has strong track record in constructing the new teams, leadership, and technical contributions to Global SoC projects and site-related work (Recruitment, Finance, Legal, Logistics).
Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the University of Limerick, Ireland.”
