Noeleen McHenry is a seasoned legal professional with more than 20 years of experience in assisting with the delivery of major infrastructure projects. In her role as Chief Legal Officer, reporting to the CEO, she leads a diverse team of 25 professionals across the legal, secretariat, and data protection functions.
In her leadership role, Noeleen provides expert legal guidance at both executive and board levels, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction and governance of the company. She is a key figure in ensuring that Uisce Éireann continues to navigate a complex and ever evolving regulatory landscape while upholding a commitment to innovation, transparency, and good governance.
Noeleen’s legal career began Arthur Cox before moving to A&L Goodbody. Since she joined Uisce Éireann in 2014, Noeleen has used her extensive expertise in planning and environmental law to help the company deliver critical water and wastewater services and infrastructure investment across Ireland. She has also developed significant experience in areas such as construction, procurement, data protection, information governance, ethics, and corporate governance.
Noeleen has a keen interest in sustainability, as well as diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She holds a degree in Law and French from Trinity College Dublin.
